We9re looking for an Environmental Project Manager to take the lead on a mix of office and field-based environmental projects. In this role, you9ll manage project budgets and schedules, work closely with clients and regulators, support field crews, and help keep projects running smoothly and safely from start to finish. You9ll also play a key part in bidding new work, building cost estimates, and mentoring team members as the business grows.

What You9ll Do
  • Manage environmental projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, reporting, and overall project performance
  • Coordinate with clients, regulators, internal teams, subcontractors, and field crews to meet project and compliance requirements
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, work plans, and proposals for new and existing project opportunities
  • Oversee field activities, site safety, sampling programs, and compliance monitoring to ensure work is completed safely and to regulatory standards
  • Lead, support, and mentor field staff through training, task delegation, and ongoing project communication

Who You Are
  • You have a university degree or college diploma in Environmental Sciences or a related field, with hands-on experience in environmental site assessment, remediation, and sampling (soil, water, air).
  • You9re comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, and adapting to changing project needs while keeping timelines and budgets on track.
  • You9re a strong communicator who can work effectively with clients, regulators, First Nations, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Professional designations (P.Ag, RT.Ag, CET, PMP, EP) are considered an asset but not required.

What You Need
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work, including lifting up to 100 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in challenging outdoor conditions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to multiple project sites across the North, including remote locations
  • Willingness to work both in the office and in the field, with exposure to weather, dust, noise, mud, water, and other site conditions.
  • A valid driver9s license and the ability to travel to remote project locations.
  • First Aid and WHMIS/TDG certifications (or willingness to complete training provided by KBL).

We9re committed to providing a safe, supportive work environment. Reasonable accommodations are available to those who qualify.

Why You9ll Love Working Here
  • Trust & Empowerment: Empowered culture with minimal bureaucracy- just real responsibility, ownership, and the flexibility to do your best work
  • Growth & Agility: We9re entrepreneurial by nature-quick to adapt and deeply invested in your development
  • Care & Commitment: From top-tier benefits (including $3,000 annually for psychological support) to a focus on safety and wellness, we put our people first
  • Meaningful Impact: Your work helps build safer, cleaner communities across Canada and that9s something to be proud of
  • Flexible work arrangements are considered for certain positions.

  • RRSP matching, Health Care Spending Account, Wellness account, and flexible work options where feasible
  • Paid training and development opportunities, Manager training program, formal Employee Recognition program
