Who are we looking for?

Our Central Region Environmental businesses in both Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Houston, Texas are looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.

This role can be based on either Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
  • Waste Management: Lead waste projects or supervise areas of the organization, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective reduction, segregation, and disposal of waste.
  • Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
  • Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
  • Coordinate and implement project permitting
  • Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
  • Development of business opportunities
  • Mentorship of staff


Education

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
Experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
