Environmental Attorney, Columbus
Porter Wright has an opportunity for an Environmental Attorney in the Columbus, Ohio office to advise clients on environmental compliance and regulatory matters, including clean water, hazardous waste, and oil and gas issues. This role includes assisting with environmental due diligence, permitting, enforcement actions, and counseling clients on federal and state environmental laws and regulations.

Qualifications include:
  • Five plus years of relevant environmental law experience in a law firm or government setting
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, including clean water compliance, hazardous waste management, and oil and gas regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with environmental permitting, compliance counseling, and enforcement matters is preferred
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
