Blue Yonder Title: Enterprise Solution Architect - Supply Chain Planning

Location: Virtual within the US

Travel required as needed for this role.

Overview

We are seeking multiple EnterpriseSolution Architects to join the North America Professional Services team where your core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions.

Scope of role

As part of the Blue Yonder Consulting team, the core focus of this role is to help customers' get value out of their supply chain by enabling supply chain planning related business processes via the implementation of Blue Yonder Planning solutions.

In this role, your core responsibilities include blueprinting, implementing and advising clients across an end-to-end supply chain scope, extending across Planning and Execution solutions, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.

You will be playing a pivotal role as the functional liaison across key stakeholders, including executive project sponsors, key customer contacts, Project Managers, Solution and Technical Architects, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.

What you'll do
  • Lead architecture and design discussions for large scale transformational programs and run End-to-End design authorities to ensure compliance and mitigate risk through detailed design and build
  • Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices in architecture and process methodology.
  • Has full command and accountability for the E2E Solution & Application architecture on a project, to enable the intended business value. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the technical integration architecture in the landscape and an ability to support technical design discussions.
  • Supports business process analysis or design/construction phase from an architecture perspective on the project.
  • Ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints.
  • Leads the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
  • Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
  • Supports alignment with detailed business process blueprints for a given Domain and sub-vertical by working in collaboration with Consulting Directors
  • Supports Business Consultants or Solution Architects in creating and modifying procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
  • Supports Project Managers in detailed task planning on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements) with an ability to estimate effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role to execute those tasks.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for users, management, and executive level audiences.
  • Liaises between various stakeholders on a project including Blue Yonder Consultants, Customer / partner consultants, Business users, IT, PMO, CM team, Cloud and Product teams to ensure the intended business objectives and value can be realized.
  • Provides primary user non-technical support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity. Provides guidance to support services in responding to base technical issues.
  • Provide guidance to support the development and execution of test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
  • Performs new product solution validation and end-to-end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports, and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to PD/PMG on defects & enhancements.
  • Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements. Interacts with PMG & PD regarding new releases and new functionality and acts as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.
  • Communicates and/or supports the business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements while also identifying incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects.
  • Provides assistance to identify the Change Management efforts needed for global or regional program implementations.


What we are looking for

Industry and Product Experience:
  • Must have at least 7 years' experience in Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning Solutions, specifically in Demand Forecasting and Supply Planning. This experience is required to be considered for the role.
  • In addition to the above, implementation experience or experience using Advanced Planning Solutions from Blue Yonder (including legacy i2 and Manugistics), or other equivalent products such as Kinaxis, o9, SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Logility, e2open, Steelwedge, OMP, etc.
  • Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferred


Skills:
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
  • Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.


Education:
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or Logistics preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.


The annual salary range for this position is $85,200.00 - $163,976.90

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
