Responsibilities

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Master Scheduler to support the United States Space Force (USSF) organization that is responsible for developing software and the supporting architecture for the organize, understand, plan, decide, direct, and monitor capabilities within the C2 Joint Capability Areas (JCAs).

In this role, you will accomplish the standardization, coordination and development of schedules across the Space C2 portfolio.

Job responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Support the management and development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the program, incorporating data from multiple sources such as Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) planning, program partner schedulers and subcontract schedules

Manage detailed and master schedules, including analyzing and maintaining critical paths and summary level schedules

Participate in recurring schedule briefings on program status and health for both internal/external customers

Support the PMO and SEIT team in practical solutioning by leveraging digital engineering capabilities as it relates to schedules and roadmaps

Qualifications

Required Experience:
  • 20+ years of professional experience supporting the DoW and/or IC communities
  • 15+ years of experience of schedule development within a DoW and/or IC environment as a SETA
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated use of MS Project, MS Project Server and Milestone Pro
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated use of a Schedule Risk Software Analysis tool such as @Risk and/or Full Monte
  • Professional scheduling experience within a System of Systems or Family of Systems portfolio, whether development or sustainment
  • Familiarity with utilizing planning and scheduling best practices DCMA 32 guidelines Comprehension of managing schedules, while analyzing and maintaining critical paths and summary level schedules
  • Skillful at creating and presenting Schedule Management Reviews and senior-level scheduling presentations
  • Familiarity with managing and integrating sub-contract schedules
  • Familiarity with Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA)
  • Experience with creating and managing Roadmaps
  • Experience with DoW space programs.


Desired Experience:
  • Program Management Institute (PMI) Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification


Education /Certification Requirements:
  • B.S. in related field


Security Clearance Level Required:
  • Able to obtain a SECRET Clearance (Must be a U.S. Citizen)


Location/Travel Requirements:
  • Place of work is El Segundo, CA - Hybrid (on-site/telework)
  • May require travel up to 10% of time within the continental United States


The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $180,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
