Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation seeks a highly experienced Enterprise Knowledge Management Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the implementation, integration, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The Enterprise Knowledge Management Technical Lead serves as the contractor's senior technical lead responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and sustaining enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities across Headquarters USSOCOM, Components, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and mission partners. This position leads the technical implementation of enterprise collaboration technologies, information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, workflow automation, and knowledge-sharing capabilities that improve operational synchronization, decision superiority, and organizational effectiveness.

Working closely with Government Knowledge Management Officers (KMOs), the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L), CIO/J6 organizations, cybersecurity personnel, records managers, and enterprise stakeholders, the Enterprise Knowledge Management Technical Lead ensures Knowledge Management capabilities integrate with existing enterprise services, governance frameworks, acquisition priorities, and approved collaboration environments while avoiding duplicate capabilities.

This role requires demonstrated experience implementing enterprise Knowledge Management solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform technologies, enterprise collaboration platforms, and modern information management practices supporting Combatant Command or Special Operations environments.

This position is located at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities supporting USSOCOM.
  • Design, configure, implement, and optimize enterprise Knowledge Management solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and approved enterprise collaboration technologies.
  • Develop enterprise information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, content organization, and knowledge structures that improve information discoverability and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead implementation of workflow automation, digital modernization, and business process improvement initiatives supporting enterprise Knowledge Management operations.
  • Integrate Knowledge Management capabilities with existing enterprise collaboration platforms, records management systems, cybersecurity services, and other approved enterprise technologies.
  • Collaborate with Government Knowledge Management Officers (KMOs), CDAO, CIO/J6 organizations, cybersecurity personnel, records managers, and enterprise stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Knowledge Management capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, configuration documentation, governance artifacts, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures supporting enterprise collaboration technologies.
  • Support phased deployment and enterprise rollout of Knowledge Management capabilities across Headquarters USSOCOM, Components, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and mission partners while accommodating mission-specific operational requirements.
  • Establish and enable Communities of Practice and enterprise collaboration capabilities that improve knowledge sharing, organizational learning, and operational synchronization.
  • Provide technical leadership supporting enterprise adoption of collaboration technologies through demonstrations, technical guidance, user enablement, and implementation support.
  • Assess existing Knowledge Management environments and recommend modernization, automation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support Agile software delivery, DevSecOps initiatives, and continuous modernization efforts supporting enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, records management policies, enterprise governance standards, and applicable Federal and DoD regulations.
  • Support implementation of enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities across classified and unclassified operational environments.


Qualifications

Clearance Requirement

Candidate must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Education (Required)

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience (Required)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting Department of Defense, Combatant Command, Joint, or Special Operations enterprise Knowledge Management, collaboration, or information management environments.
  • Experience supporting a Combatant Command, Joint organization, or Special Operations organization.
  • Experience serving as a Knowledge Management Lead, SharePoint Architect, Enterprise Collaboration Lead, or Microsoft 365 Technical Lead supporting mission-critical operations.
  • Experience designing, implementing, configuring, and sustaining enterprise collaboration environments utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Experience developing enterprise information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, knowledge organization, records integration, and content management capabilities.
  • Experience implementing workflow automation, digital modernization, and business process improvement initiatives supporting enterprise Knowledge Management environments.
  • Experience integrating enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities with existing collaboration platforms, records management systems, cybersecurity services, and enterprise technologies.
  • Experience supporting phased deployment, implementation, adoption, and sustainment of enterprise Knowledge Management capabilities across geographically dispersed organizations.
