Job Description:Seeking an experienced engineer to provide enterprise IT systems support and Unified Communications (UC)/video engineering across multiple secure, geographically dispersed environments. Role includes Tier II support, UC/video design and deployment, lifecycle engineering, system hardening, and supervision of IT staff using ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II support for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/DFS, and enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot system, application, and performance issues; deliver remote desktop support
- Support Cisco-based video/UC infrastructure and Microsoft Teams environments
- Troubleshoot video endpoints; support call scheduling and in-room sessions
- Develop operation documentation, SOPs, and Knowledge Base articles
- Apply DISA STIG/SCAP security hardening
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure seamless UC/video services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Security+ (IAT Level II)
- Experience with Windows, Linux, AD, enterprise troubleshooting, and ITIL processes
- Experience with Cisco UC Manager/Meeting Server, Vbrick, Jabber, and video endpoints
Preferred Skills:
- Cisco TMS and Expressways
- Microsoft 365/Teams
- PBX support
- AWS experience
- SCCM, PowerShell, VMware/Citrix
- Exchange and networking fundamentals
The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
