About the Position

The Enterprise Engineering Manager (EEM) is a strategic leader responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and customer success across Pregis' largest Enterprise Accounts. Serving as the primary technical and operational partner to customers, this role collaborates closely with engineering, operations, procurement, field service, category management, client success, and commercial teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions that improve customer outcomes, strengthen relationships, and accelerate profitable growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to customer and internal stakeholders, the EEM identifies operational gaps, improves throughput and reliability, and transforms business challenges into scalable solutions and growth opportunities.

The EEM leads a team of engineers and project managers responsible for delivering strategic initiatives across the Enterprise portfolio. This role provides oversight of project governance, resource planning, milestone execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful customer implementations and consistent delivery against commitments. Success is measured through revenue growth, customer retention, operational improvements, solution adoption, and the effective execution of strategic initiatives that enhance customer value and drive long-term business results.

Reporting Structure: Vice President, Enterprise Accounts

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Business Leadership
  • Serve as the primary engineering advisor for Enterprise Accounts, building relationships with customer leadership across operations, engineering, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer performance, reduce costs, and expand Pregis' business.
  • Partner with Enterprise Account teams to develop growth strategies, business cases, and ROI-based solutions.
  • Collaborate across commercial, category management, client success, and operations teams to deliver customer value and drive retention.

Engineering & Project Execution
  • Lead the development and deployment of protective packaging and automation solutions.
  • Manage project scope, resources, timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.
  • Support installations, commissioning, trials, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and execution.

Operational & Organizational Leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement through operational assessments, root-cause analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing engineering and project management team.
  • Support strategic planning, resource forecasting, capacity planning, and executive reporting.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus across the organization.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience required.
  • 8+ years of engineering, applications engineering, automation, packaging, manufacturing, distribution, or related experience.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $145,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and skills.
