Highlights of your role- Lead Request For Quotation (RFQ) events, evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and overall value.
- Conduct high-risk negotiations with vendors and secure favorable terms while mitigating risk
- Provide strategic direction and recommendations for assigned commodities and categories
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and procurement processes to support long-term business needs
- Build and manage commodity supplier partnerships by facilitating and leading strategic supplier conversations
- Advise the procurement team members to drive alignment and best practices
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)- A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in supply chain, leadership, project management, or a related field
- Expert negotiation and supplier management skills
- Understanding of material quality requirements, processes and procedures

- Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Purchasing process and systems knowledge
- Professional certification (preferred)
