Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Systems Engineer - Intermediate
Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ
Clearance Level: Secret, Must Have Clearance to Start
Required Certification(s): One of the following certifications prior to start date: Security+, Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP
Job DescriptionResponsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, and evaluate cloud systems that support a global enterprise solution, primarily utilizing Azure services (Intune, MDE, Entra, Azure IaaS).
- Apply security best practices to all phases of cloud implementation and integration.
- Plan and execute the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise cloud solution.
- Develop and manage cloud solution roadmaps that align with business objectives and company strategy.
- Analyze cloud requirements to assess the feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with other engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, ensuring operational and performance requirements are met.
- Automate the gathering, scripting, packaging, and deployment of approved software to the enterprise.
- Utilize software development principles and open-source solutions to automate tasks related to the management of products and services.
- Resolve complex technical problems, create and refine procedures, and facilitate clear communication across teams.
- Research and produce high-quality technical documentation for internal teams and the broader organization.
Education and BackgroundBachelor's in computer science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
Years of Experience- 2 years of experience with BS/BA
- 4 years of experience with AA/AS
- 6 years of experience with no degree
Required Skills- Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating enterprise-level cloud solutions, specifically with Microsoft Azure services (Intune, MDE, Entra, Azure IaaS).
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, and software deployment technologies.
- Experience with software development methodologies and open-source tools to build automation solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic technical roadmaps.
Preferred SkillsExperience with Army Unified Directory Service
