This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. Position Overview

The Enterprise Business Analyst is instrumental in carrying out Paylocity's primary mission of driving our largest clients' satisfaction by ensuring their needs are fully understood and we are successful in meeting them. Responsible for handling needs assessments, cost/benefits analysis, establishing internal/external relationships, and soliciting product and enhancement requirements

from end users in order to convert requests into optimal sustainable solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage in Enterprise pre-sales process with Project Manager/Enterprise Solutions Consultants, documenting estimation of work
• Conduct a discovery call with all stakeholders to answer product questions, collect data for configuration, understand client priorities, and craft appropriate timelines for their needs. (Whiteboard session)
• Understand and explain limitations, developing alternatives early in the process, identifying custom work or Development team involvement, as early in the process as possible
• Work with primary decision makers using a consultative approach and project management skills to uncover their needs, create, analyze, and validate detailed cross functional/technical specifications, and drive them to completion.
• Drives increased use of core system functionality to reduce needs for customization, manual processes and helping to create efficiencies for our largest clients.
• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications, driving functional change across Product Groups.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all setup work has been completed accurately, to help reduce defects requiring maintenance work down the line.
• Maintain expert level knowledge of Paylocity's products and partnerships, understanding all system functions/release features to ensure clients realize maximum benefit of our system.
• Stay up to date with gov't regulations to ensure compliance and sustainability
• Build confidence by articulating expert interpretation to all stake holders both internal and external
• Establishes professional intra- and interdepartmental relationships to prioritize needs, communicate project status and timing expectations.
• Assists in driving process improvements, documenting requirements, creating use cases and process models.
• Represents Tech Services in cross team escalation meetings
• Travel up to 20% may be required

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience writing business specifications
• At least five years' experience in Payroll, HR, or equivalent work experience
• Experience defining software requirements preferred
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
• Strong technical aptitude preferred
• Comfort/experience communicating with Executives
• Technical facilitation experience
• Project Management experience
• Experience in Accounting, specifically experience with journal entries and A/P is recommended.
• Advanced understanding of cost and labor allocations

The pay range for this position is $63,800/yr - $101,300/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
