Maximus is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client's vision of driving interoperability across organizations.
This role is on-site in Bethesda, MD and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a model-based IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks.
- Work closely with IT Enterprise Architects to determine model views and gather needed data.
- Work with partners that are not familiar with modeling and help them translate their IT architecture into a model.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- B.S. degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
- Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering, with proven experience translating concepts into SysML or UML.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
- Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud.
- Experience integrating systems and tools in a cloud environment.
- Excellent communication skills for technical writing, oral briefings, and executive-level products.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experience with M365 and other enterprise networks, providers and tools.
