Position Description:

CGI Sherbrooke is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support organizations in structuring their technology direction and evolving their application landscape. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of engagements where understanding business needs, governance, impact analysis, and alignment between organizational priorities and technology capabilities are central to success. Depending on the context, you may contribute to the analysis of processes, capabilities, applications, data, and integrations, while maintaining a strong advisory, planning, and facilitation role.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Analyze business and technology needs to qualify requests, clarify objectives, and guide architecture activities
• Conduct high-level impact assessments related to processes, applications, data, integrations, security, and key dependencies
• Define and document architectural directions, options, and recommendations tailored to the organization's context, constraints, and transformation objectives
• Contribute to architecture governance by preparing decision briefs, supporting architecture reviews, and ensuring decision traceability
• Maintain and evolve architecture artifacts, principles, standards, maps, and relevant repository elements
• Support teams and stakeholders in applying approved architectural directions, assessing gaps, and identifying required adjustments
• Help align initiatives with business priorities, technology roadmaps, and transformation objectives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Significant experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and/or business architecture within complex or transformational environments
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs, processes, and technology impacts, and to structure recommendations that support decision-making
• Strong understanding of architecture governance practices, standards, principles, review mechanisms, and exception management
• Proficiency in architecture modeling and documentation, with experience using frameworks or languages such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with business, technology, and management audiences
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, structure information effectively, and act pragmatically in situations where direction needs to be defined and clarified
• Experience producing executive-level deliverables such as summaries, architecture options, recommendations, and roadmaps
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written)

Assets
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, energy, natural resources, industrial operations, or critical infrastructure
• Knowledge of platforms or domains such as SAP, ServiceNow, cloud technologies, data management, API integration, IAM, or cybersecurity
• Experience with architecture repository or mapping tools such as LeanIX, ServiceNow APM, Orbus, Sparx EA, Archi, Confluence, or Jira
• Experience supporting transformation programs, application modernization initiatives, or IT governance initiatives
• Experience in a consulting environment or in engagements requiring extensive collaboration with multiple stakeholders

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 80 000$ et 155 000$. This position is a future opportunity.
