Overview

The Enterprise Programmer/Analyst is a member of the Enterprise Applications team within the Information Technology Services Division. This is a lead technical operations role, collaborating with peers and stakeholders, providing technical expertise in the areas of enterprise academic and administrative applications, data management, complex integrations, and product management. The Enterprise Programmer/Analyst contributes to the design, implementation, maintenance, support, and replacement of the College's enterprise resource planning applications, data, integrations, and related services, local and hosted, ensuring efficient and effective operations while managing risk and driving continuous improvement. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and serves on role-related data governance, product management, and incident response teams.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required

EXPERIENCE
  • Two (2) or more years of Object-oriented application programming experience. Required
  • Experience in enterprise database design and reporting. Preferred
  • Experience in the following programming languages: Java, SQL, C# python. Preferred
  • Experience integrating on-site and cloud-based software systems, preferably Azure. Preferred
  • Experience managing small to medium sized projects. Preferred
  • Experience with form development and workflows. Preferred

ABILITIES AND SKILLS

TECHNICAL:
  • Expertise in DevOps Practices.
  • Expertise in Data Modeling and Database Management (Advanced SQL Skills).
  • Expertise in Data Integration and ETL Concepts.
  • Expertise Data Security and Compliance.
  • Understanding of Azure Fundamentals, specifically in Azure Data Factory.
  • Understanding of the Power Platform, specifically Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate Experience with SSRS reporting.
  • Experience with .Net, java, and python programming languages.
  • Experience with project and product management practices and tools.
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation standards. Required
