Job DescriptionRole SummaryDesigns, builds, tests, and supports enterprise-scale business applications, primarily on the Microsoft stack (C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC) with adjacent Java/Oracle/PL-SQL variants. Includes business-analyst-adjacent roles that translate requirements into technical specifications. The most transferable and widely-available talent pool of the six clusters.
Core Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and defect resolution for enterprise web applications
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with enterprise data sources
- Develop and optimize high-performance SQL Server / Oracle PL-SQL queries and data models
- Serve as liaison between IT, QA, and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; manage sprint delivery and stakeholder demos
- Support cloud-native development patterns (Azure/AWS, PaaS/SaaS)
- Conduct code reviews and enforce modern design-pattern standards
RequirementsSkills Required- C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor Pages, Web APIs, Entity Framework
- SQL Server and/or Oracle (PL/SQL, TOAD, SQL*Plus)
- JavaScript/jQuery, Angular or React (client-side scripting)
- Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
- Agile/Scrum methodology and requirements elicitation (BPMN, swim-lane, use-case diagrams)
- Dynamics 365 / Power Platform familiarity (for BSA-adjacent roles)
Experience Required- 10+ years hands-on software development for senior/lead-track roles; 5+ years for mid-level engineer roles
- 4+ years of data engineering / database systems experience (SQL Server or Oracle)
- 4+ years designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- 2+ years as a development lead (senior-track roles)
- 2+ years hands-on with Azure or AWS cloud and hybrid architecture
Education / Training- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field
- Some reqs accept 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
