JOB DESCRIPTION:The Opportunity The Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) will support the Cardiometabolic & Informatics Business Unit and be responsible for achieving sales objectives across Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems, and wellness accounts within an assigned regional territory. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales and Distribution, the EAM will build and manage relationships with key decision-makers across large, complex strategic accounts, execute business strategies, protect existing business, and identify new growth opportunities. Working closely with the broader Cardiometabolic commercial team, this role is accountable for delivering revenue and profitability goals.
Covering Regional Health Systems and IDN's in Central US and Upper Mideast well as responsibility for select National Accounts.
What You'll Work On - Drive cardiometabolic sales performance across Afinion, LDX, and assigned market business objectives.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with IDNs, wellness groups, and large physician networks to support system-wide standardization.
- Analyze accounts to understand business objectives, competitive landscape, and financial indicators, aligning Abbott's value proposition with strategic goals.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies, protect base business, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams-including account executives, regional directors, and marketing managers-to accelerate complex sales cycles and deliver tailored solutions.
- Navigate distribution channels and coordinate internal resources to execute strategic account plans, assign roles, and drive tactical execution.
- Apply structured sales methodologies to qualify opportunities, track progress, and optimize time-to-close.
- Negotiate and secure long-term, system-level contracts that enhance revenue and profitability.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure compliance, identify expansion opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Collaborate across Abbott divisions to deliver innovative, system-wide solutions that meet evolving account needs.
- Oversee comprehensive account planning and forecasting to support sustained growth and strategic alignment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing leadership and guidance across all Abbott interactions.
- Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
Required Qualifications - BA/BS in sales, marketing, or business management
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, of which 1-3 years should be sales experience selling to healthcare industry executive level decision-makers
- 2-5 years of complex selling and negotiation experience
- Travel is estimated to be 50% or more, and must live within the designated region and proximity to major airport
- Development and implementation of training concepts and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications - Additional training in laboratory product sales and the diagnostics industry
- Established relationships and experience within major IDNs/health systems
- Sales experience within point-of-care (POC) diagnostic or related field
- Capital selling and distribution experience
- Ability to form and develop long-term strategic interpersonal, professional senior-level relationships

The base pay for this position is $113,300.00 - $226,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
