Job Details

Supporting the 340B Enterprise Strategy & Center of Excellence, this role is responsible for the execution of Cencora's 340B strategy. The 340B Program Operations Manager partners with commercial business and operational leaders to operationalize 340B processes optimally with the ultimate aim of delivering a best-in-class 340B customer experience and meeting commercial objectives. This role constantly seek ways to improve processes and generate operational efficiencies through effective tool utilization and monitoring. They will manage any one-time initiatives necessary to further the 340B strategy. The role will collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams and the 340B Enterprise Strategy team members.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the project management initiatives to carry out the 340B strategy across the enterprise
  • Document and track service level agreements, surveys, and key performance indicators to meet corporate and business unit level goals
  • Participate in 340B workstreams and manage project plans
  • Measure best-in-class customer experience and follow up with key areas of the business on findings
  • Manage 340B inbox and case management through collaboration with appropriate team members for problem resolution and identification of trends that may lead to process improvement or education
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities including plugging in process gaps, building a new tool etc. that ultimately allow the teams to operate effectively and efficiently
  • Identify and recommend innovative solutions that will enhance Cencora's 340B offering and work towards driving their development and launch
  • Participate in the develop of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and program governance documentation in support of program reliability standards
  • Work directly with external teams and customers that impact the 340B segment:
  • Participate in 340B steering committees comprised of contract pharmacy and covered entity participants to monitor customer experience and correlate data
  • Support external communications and marketing needs
  • Track and monitor 340B conferences and events
  • Manage 340B inbox and collaborate with customers
  • Carry out strategic initiative project plans utilizing tools that monitor and track progress
  • Support providing input to the business case and related materials to secure internal funding
  • Working with the project team to document the success of initiatives and regular status reports
  • Monitoring project progress, budget etc. and ensuring its successful completion
  • Participate in relationship management activities with external parties, e.g., APEXUS, TPAs, 340B steering committee
  • In conjunction with Analytics team, monitor key metrics and KPIs as they relate to financial health of the 340B segment, actual vs goals, operations of underlying teams that interface with 340B tasks, opportunity, leakage, vendor impact, customer feedback
  • Participate in maintaining timely 340B communications; including newsletters, webinars, articles, podcasts or other mechanisms
  • Marketing and communications: monitor and track initiatives, materials and campaigns; including regular maintenance and collaboration
  • May be required to complete and receive a passing score on defined certification course(s) as determined by the Senior Director, 340B Operations
  • Performs related duties as assigned
  • Limited travel may be requried


Education and Work Experience
  • Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program
    required. Preferred Masters in Business Administration or Project Management Certification
  • Has broad training in fields such as Business Administration, Customer Experience, Project Management and Operations
  • Has 3+ years of 340B experience, including knowledge of 340B compliance and regulations, different players within the 340B landscape, current challenges etc.
  • Experience with managing multiple projects and workstreams at one time


Skills and Knowledge
  • Has significant operational leadership experience with an emphasis on customer experience and account management, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Demonstrates experience operating in a large enterprise (>30,000 employees)
  • Demonstrates an ability to successfully manage large teams across the organization and execute initiatives that require a high degree cross functional and cross team collaboration
  • Has Completed or willing to complete 340B University or 340B University on Demand
  • Has Completed or willing to complete Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program (340B ACE)
  • Understands Pharmacy trends and operations
  • Has experience in data analytics and reporting (preferred) with proficiency in PowerBI
  • Demonstrates excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Has excellent integration, implementation and management skills
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce to operate effectively with company systems and programs

Salary Range*

$73,600 - 147,290

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
