E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S- Examines patients to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Conducts and supervises direct patient care in the clinic setting, and plans and executes disease prevention and health promotion programs.
- Prescribes or administers medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Other duties as assigned
E D U C A T I O N- Graduation from an accredited Medical School and Residency Program required.
E X P E R I E N C E- Recent (2-4 years) of ENT medicine experience preferred.
CC R E D E N T I A L S- Must have a current, valid license to practice medicine in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Medicine.
- Must have a current, valid Controlled Substance Registration in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Must have a current, valid DEA Registration and must be in good standing with the DEA.
- Must be a member of the Active Medical Staff at Ivinson Memorial Hospital and must comply with the Medical Staff governing documents. Must remain in good standing with the Medical Staff and governing documents and must obtain all necessary hospital privileges to perform the role of Hospitalist at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.
