Job Overview

Under the general direction of the University Registrar and Associate Registrars, the Enrollment Experience Coordinator is responsible for coordinating programs, services, and initiatives that support a seamless and student-centered enrollment experience. The incumbent collaborates with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and other campus partners to implement enrollment processes and initiatives that promote timely registration, equitable access to courses, and student success.

The Enrollment Experience Coordinator serves as a key resource for enrollment planning and student support by coordinating enrollment-related programs, identifying opportunities to improve enrollment processes, and assisting with initiatives that reduce administrative barriers to student enrollment. The position provides coordination and support for specialized student populations, including returning students, graduate students, and high school dual enrollment students, ensuring these populations receive appropriate enrollment guidance and services.

The incumbent coordinates enrollment initiatives such as pre-enrollment programs, enrollment communications, registration support, and related technologies that enhance student enrollment experience. The position also provides lead work direction to support staff and student assistants, coordinates training, analyzes enrollment trends, assists with enrollment-related projects, and supports implementation of university policies and procedures related to registration and records.

Position Summary

Enrollment Experience Coordinator (Student Services Professional III)

This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,540 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,540 - $7,893 per month

Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
