Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll run the Platform team that ships reliable work fast, and you'll co-own the entire platform: cloud operations, Terraform automation, BYOC, and on-call. You'll lead both the people and the quality of what they deliver, so that E2B's core infrastructure is fast, secure, and reliable at any scale, customers trust us with their agents' execution, and product teams ship on top of the platform without thinking about it.

You'll need to be senior and self-sufficient enough to run the team and make calls independently. Independence isn't a nice-to-have here, it's the job. The team is mostly in-office, so you'll lean on in-person and ad-hoc unblocking. You accept a standing early-morning window (8-9 local) for calls with the EU team.

YOUR JOB WILL BE:
  • Leading a platform engineering team: 1:1s, performance reviews, career growth, hiring, and day-to-day people management
  • Owning delivery and quality, making sure work meets the definition of done before it ships, not just gets assigned
  • Running project management for the team. You'll be scoping work, leading projects, and delivering on time
  • Owning day-to-day job allocation, unblocking, and providing technical context and direction to the team
  • Owning technical guidance and code-review standards, and translating core architecture into how your team builds
  • Sitting in the technical leadership group - surfacing signal from projects, operations, and on-call up to leadership
  • Planning the on-call rotation. Keeping it staffed, published, and followed, and owning incident follow-up
  • Staying hands-on as a major contributor to projects yourself
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team of infrastructure or platform engineers, with the judgment to make calls and own outcomes
  • 5+ years building infrastructure, especially distributed systems, and operating it at scale
  • 5+ years of Linux fundamentals: Kernel, networking, storage, namespaces, containers
  • Hands-on experience with cloud operations, Terraform/IaC, and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Nomad
  • A strong bar for delivery and quality. You ship reliable work fast and hold your team to the same standard
  • Detail-oriented with great taste in design and engineering
  • Excited to work in person on a DevTool product and comfortable working closely with users
  • Proactive, not afraid to take ownership of part of the product
