Brief DescriptionABOUT THE JOBThe Engineering Supervisor provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for the Engineering Division within the Public Works Department. This role is responsible for managing a team of professional engineers, and technicians to ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable development of county infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
As a key leader, you will bridge the gap between high-level policy and technical execution, ensuring all projects comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS), environmental regulations, and county standards.
WORK SCHEDULEMonday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPossession of a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university and five (5) years engineering/planning experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
REQUIRED SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONSMust possess and maintain a professional engineering license valid in the State of Oregon. Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license, automobile insurance, and have access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment.
