Qualifications In addition to being creative, proactive and detail-oriented, the preferred candidate will have: • 3-8 years of structural engineering experience • PE and MS or MEng degree (preferred) • Strong verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands and Work Environment • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits. • Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain. • Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials. PLEASE NOTE: You will be working closely with the Eugene Structural office's team leader, however, to be successful in this position; you will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision on basic engineering tasks. This is not a remote position, and the expectation is that you will be in the Eugene office most of the time to work in-person with other team members and clients.
