Life Cycle Engineering encompasses multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers throughout the entire product life cycle—from initial concept through deactivation. Our primary focus area is product support, which includes key disciplines such as Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
In this role, you will support Modification Work Order (MWO) efforts by collaborating with internal engineering teams, Program Offices, and external Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) customers. You will coordinate all activities required to prepare the MWO manuscript for implementation and serve as a liaison among various disciplines across the Raytheon organization.
What You Will Do
Manage MWO manuscripts throughout the entire life cycle.
Review Class 1 Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for MWO impact.
Organize and lead MWO manuscript peer reviews.
Present MWO schedules and status updates at customer meetings.
Participate in status meetings with Program Office and IFMC personnel.
Lead bi‑weekly manuscript status review meetings with the IFMC customer.
Lead formal MWO validation activities with Engineering and customer personnel.
CONUS travel required (approximately 20%).
Qualifications You Must Have
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience working with Technical Data, Engineering Documentation, Configuration Management (CM), or Product Data Management (PDM).
Qualifications We Prefer
Active and existing U.S. government–issued security clearance.
Knowledge of missile system product lines (e.g., Patriot) and major end items, with a general understanding of system life‑cycle processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver accurate documentation under tight deadlines.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
