Engineering Project Officer
The Opportunity:

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape DoD's next generation of weapon systems by leading engineering efforts to design and develop high-quality customized solutions. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skill set into areas like the propulsion of munitions. You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in an engineering discipline such as systems or mechanical engineering
  • Experience performing engineering analysis on systems and components
  • Experience deriving various types of requirements, including functional, non-functional, and technical specifications, to guide development and implementation
  • Experience in the development and analysis of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Ability to run failure investigation teams to identify technical issues and propose resolutions
  • Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results
  • Ability to support the program manager with cost and schedule estimates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of precision guided artillery systems, including warheads, fuzing, airframe, and guidance technologies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
