As an Engineering Project Manager, you'll bring together multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver complex projects safely, efficiently, and with lasting impact. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic engineering leadership while helping advance critical infrastructure that powers communities and fuels economic growth.
Your Impact- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through the planning, design, review, and execution of large-scale transmission and substation projects.
- Drive engineering strategies, execution plans, and deliverable schedules that support successful project outcomes.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality expectations, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between stakeholders, EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Monitor engineering performance, schedules, budgets, and project milestones to support effective project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks while fostering a proactive problem-solving culture.
- Support procurement activities through technical reviews, bid evaluations, and contractor submissions.
- Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, or eligibility to obtain registration.
- 12+ years of progressive engineering and infrastructure project delivery experience.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on utility, transmission, energy, or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of transmission line, substation, and power system engineering projects.
- Experience overseeing engineering consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage technical risk, engineering quality processes, and complex project interfaces.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness, and leadership capabilities.
Compensation- BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $147,500 - $195,400
- MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
- Atlantic Provinces & QC: $133,200 - $176,900
