Job Summary:
The Engineering Project Manager (PM) will plan and execute projects to meet client expectations. This includes managing efforts from the internal team and third-party consultants and construction contractors. This candidate will gather and analyze data to estimate the amount of money, time, materials, and labor required to complete logistics/civil engineering and construction projects. An ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to be a part of the team to prepare and submit proposals and execute until project closeout. Experience in construction document preparations including, but not limited to- site planning, grading, drainage, and erosion control.

Duties/Responsibilities:
-Work with the manager or Director of Engineering to determine project scope and define requirements.
-Prepare cost data for proposals and contract negotiations and support bid process.
-Organize, monitor, and control project costs in accordance with contractual requirements and Company procedures.
-Proactively advise management when forecasted costs exceed the approved budget.
-Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure proposed scope of work is understood.
-Manage consultants and contractors through project execution.
-Interpolate survey designs and LiDAR.
-Knowledge of logistics/civil engineering processes and materials.
-On-site support on projects on an as needed basis.
-Discuss and work with governing bodies (e.g. DOT and Counties). Communication with DOT entities and customer representatives.
-Analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
-Aptitude to succeed in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
-Manages projects effectively from proposal to close-out and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-Comprehensive understanding of internal team processes and project timelines with the goal of managing assigned projects from conception to delivery independently.
-Ability to lead external facing calls and speak knowledgeably to projects assigned to them with suppliers and the customer.
-Knowledge of industry related information and technologies, including WTG components, trailer configurations, and OEM sourcing strategies.
-Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to formulate report documents for route feasibility studies.
-Shows complete understanding in all drone related operations, including ability to configure, operate, and travel with the drone independently to support project requirements as needed.
-Ability to travel. Travel is required 2-3 days per week approximately once per month.
-Experience with AutoCAD.
-Familiarity with ArcGIS and AutoTURN/Vehicle Tracking.
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
-1-8 years of industry-related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
-Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
-Must be able to rent vehicle for project related travel.
-Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
