A Snapshot of Your Day
As Technical Engineer for Gas Turbin Combustion, you'll drive the development of next-generation combustion system technologies that support decarbonization and power the future. Leading a multidisciplinary team of experts across aerodynamics, mechanical design, testing, procurement, and manufacturing, you'll turn complex engineering challenges into world-class solutions with real global impact.
How You'll Make an Impact
Monitor project status against product requirements (Product Requirement Specification (PRS) / Order Entry Document (OED)), ensuring technical, engineering, commercial, and quality objectives are met.
Develop the technical Product Design Specification / Project Description (PDS/PB) based on the PRS.
Report project status to Engineering Management and escalate critical issues in a timely manner (technical, commercial, quality, or schedule-related).
Represent Engineering in both internal and external customer communications, including reports and meetings.
Serve as the technical project lead and primary engineering contact for development programs, with responsibility for team disciplines, milestones, and budgets.
Developing next-generation combustion hardware that supports Siemens Energy's decarbonization goals while adhering to the Product Development Process (PDP).
What You Bring
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
3-5+ years' technical engineering background combined with experience managing detailed engineering projects involving gas turbine components, ideally within combustion design. Candidates with more years of experience may be considered at a higher level.
