Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to support the delivery of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network deployment projects. This role is responsible for coordinating engineering deliverables across market engineering teams, design vendors, permitting, and construction to ensure engineering work is delivered accurately, on schedule, and aligned with market build plans. The Engineering Program Manager will serve as a key connection point between engineering and construction, providing clear visibility into engineering progress, upcoming deliverables, schedule risks, and construction readiness. This position requires a highly organized program leader who can manage multiple priorities, drive accountability across internal and external teams, and establish consistent processes for tracking and communicating engineering performance.

Education & Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in telecommunications, fiber deployment, outside plant (OSP), FTTH, or a related infrastructure environment.
  • Experience managing engineering deliverables, project schedules, or large scale infrastructure programs.
  • Experience working with engineering design vendors and cross functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, permitting, and construction workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong meeting facilitation and communication skills. Ability to drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing project status reports, dashboards, or performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and project/task management tools.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting FTTH or fiber optic network deployments.
  • Knowledge of fiber outside plant engineering and permitting processes
  • Experience working with telecommunications engineering vendors or design firms
  • Familiarity with GIS, Fiber Design, Network planning or permitting platforms
  • PMP Certification or equivalent program/project management experience
  • Experience supporting multiple geographic markets or large scale network deployment programs


Work Environment & Physical Requirements (if applicable):
  • Remain stationery for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Communicate effectively via telephone, video conferencing, and in person.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret information on computer screens and printed materials.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as laptops, presentation materials, or office supplies.
  • Travel by automobile and/or commercial transportation as required.


This position requires periodic travel to company offices, customer locations, conferences, training events, and other business-related meetings. Travel may range from approximately 10% to 30% of work time and may include occasional overnight stays.
