We9re hiring a Engineering Program Manager at our facility in San Diego, CA and we9re looking for someone who9s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Engineering Program Manager designs customer solutions based on engineering drawings and site visits, providing project management oversight for key initiatives. This role collaborates closely with the sales team to build customer relationships and presents the benefits of EquipmentShare9s capabilities. They serve as a technical expert, providing support for advanced panels and controls, and contribute to fleet deployment strategies. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer creates and executes special projects, and travels as needed to support customer and branch needs.
Primary Responsibilities
3 Design solutions for customers based on engineering drawings and physical job walks
3 Project management oversight of key initiatives and related projects
3 Work collaboratively with EquipmentShare sales team members to build and nurture existing customer relationships
3 Present and demonstrate the benefits of EquipmentShare9s capabilities to various customer audiences (Business Development)
3 Trade Show support
3 Serve as an expert and advocate for the EquipmentShare technology
3 Provide technical support internally and externally for our advanced panels and controls
3 Assist in the development of fleet deployment to ensure the correct fleet mix for the verticals served in each market
3 Create and execute special projects including automation and telemetry
3 Travel, as needed, to meet the needs of the customer and supported branches

Skills & Qualifications
3 Technical knowledge and capabilities of the fleet in the market, specifically HVAC, pumps, and/or generators
3 Strong leadership skills and a record of assisting customers with specialized needs
3 Working knowledge of computers and Google Suite programs
3 Ability to create and present presentations to various levels of decision-makers
3 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3 Ability to travel as required (around 50%-75% of the time)
3 Ability to take initiative to improve customer service and experience in the field
3 Experience in strategic planning, logistics and execution
3 Ability to listen to a customer9s needs and drive solution based recommendations in order to tailor a jobsite to those needs for best customer experience
Education and Experience:
3 Bachelor9s Degree or related field experience
3 At least 5 years of experience in multi-unit field operational/sales role
3 At least 5 years of experience in either, HVAC, pumps, and/or generators
3 At least 5 years of experience interpreting engineered drawings
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull at least 50lbs
3 Extended periods of time walking/standing/sitting as well as occasional bending/stooping
3 Perform repetitive motions such as gripping, twisting, and turning when operating tools or performing assembly/disassembly tasks.
3 Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like to work safely at elevated heights.
