About the RoleAs an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers to build, scale, and operate high-quality software systems that deliver meaningful value to customers and the business. You'll be responsible for creating an environment where engineers can do their best work-balancing execution, technical excellence, and long-term sustainability. This role sits at the intersection of people leadership and technical strategy, partnering closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to turn goals into well-delivered outcomes.
In this role, you'll focus on growing individuals and teams while ensuring reliable delivery and continuous improvement. You'll help set technical direction, establish healthy engineering practices, and remove obstacles that slow teams down. Success looks like a motivated, high-performing team, strong collaboration across disciplines, and software that is well-designed, maintainable, and aligned with business priorities.

Minimum Requirements- 3+ years managing software engineering teams.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver customer-impacting product initiatives
- Track record of hiring, mentoring, and performance-managing engineers across levels.
Preferred Experience- Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL, Postgres, and Django.
- Ad platform API expertise (Facebook, Google, Pinterest, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
- 7+ years total engineering experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
Role Responsibilities- People leadership: Hire, mentor, and grow a mixed-level team with clear goals and regular feedback.
- Own delivery planning and execution, including risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Developer velocity: Own SDLC and CI/CD governance, shorten feedback loops, streamline releases, and reduce engineering toil.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to build a product that our customers love.
- Ensure work is aligned with product strategy and customer outcomes.
- Set and evolve team-level technical direction in alignment with broader architecture.
- Build a strong feedback culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Effectively collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to drive decisions and execution.
