OverviewThe Engineering Manager is responsible for all on-site engineering and maintenance functions, providing the proper and timely execution of projects. The Engineering Manager leads, directs, and oversees all aspects of engineering, maintenance, and project planning and execution, creating a team-oriented environment that encourages excellence.

- Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Physics - Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics, and mechanical, electrical, atomic and sub- atomic structures and processes.
- Planning/Organizing 6 the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently and completes work in a timely manner. Proven ability to manage multiple projects to a deadline.
- Quality control 6 the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance. Attentive to detail. Strong organizational skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS / EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Working Conditions: Majority will be an inside office environment.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.
Education and Formal Training:
- Masters Degree in Engineering preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years engineering management experience in manufacturing environment, overseeing a group of at least 5 employees.
- Ability to drive root cause analyses
- Component or product manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software or technology as relevant to this position.
- Certification in Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works a plus
- ERP system knowledge, SAP is a plus.
The pay for this position is dependent upon experience, between $122,199.00 - $165,280.50.
