Lead the Operations. Build the Team. Drive Excellence.

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of The Brook's facilities and grounds. In this leadership role, you'll oversee engineering operations, preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and a skilled team dedicated to providing a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for our guests and employees.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering team, including Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Grounds staff
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across buildings, grounds, equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and reliability
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee work orders, repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects
  • Manage department schedules, staffing, performance reviews, training, and employee development
  • Coordinate and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers
  • Monitor department budgets, expenses, inventory, and purchasing activities
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, life safety requirements, and company policies
  • Provide engineering support for events, entertainment venues, and seasonal operations
  • Serve as a key resource during facility emergencies and operational challenges
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of facilities, engineering, construction, hotel, casino, or commercial maintenance experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing projects, and overseeing contractors
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, preventive maintenance programs, and operational priorities
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a New Hampshire Primary Game Operator License (sponsored and paid for by The Brook)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
