Engineering Data Analytics Specialist

Overview / Summary

The Engineering Data Analytics Specialist supports engineering organizations by providing data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project tracking support. This role enables engineering teams to achieve cost-reduction objectives through actionable insights derived from engineering and cost-related data.

The position requires strong Power BI expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to transform large datasets into executive-level reporting and business intelligence tools. The individual will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and program teams to monitor cost-saving initiatives, track implementation progress, and improve reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering and cost-related datasets.
  • Perform data mining and trend analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Create executive-level visualizations and reports.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or engineering analytics.
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or product development organizations.
  • Experience managing large datasets.
  • Experience creating executive-level reports and dashboards.
  • Experience developing reporting metrics and analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and project activities.
  • Required Power BI experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
