Full Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for coordinating engineering activities, projects, deliverables, and cross-functional workflows to ensure timely execution and organizational alignment. This position supports Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control, and other functional departments by facilitating communication, tracking commitments, monitoring progress, and helping remove barriers that impact project execution.

  • Coordinate engineering projects, initiatives, and cross-functional activities.
  • Maintain and manage engineering action-item tracking systems.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, commitments, and due dates.
  • Follow up with responsible individuals and teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Monitor and report overdue actions, schedule risks, and project delays.
  • Facilitate accountability across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Production teams.
  • Schedule and coordinate engineering meetings, reviews, project updates, and cross-functional discussions.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, document action items, and distribute meeting summaries.
  • Track design review actions and ensure review feedback is completed and documented.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities and monitor implementation progress.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by tracking deliverables, milestones, and readiness activities.
  • Maintain project schedules, status reports, dashboards, and engineering metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, project reviews, presentations, and performance dashboards.
  • Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and controlled documentation workflows.
  • Support engineering resource planning and workload visibility activities.
  • Assist with customer-driven deliverables, engineering commitments, and internal project communications.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and communicate risks to appropriate management when necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes, project management, documentation control, and workflow effectiveness.
  • Maintain engineering records, databases, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, quality system requirements, and company established protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certification/Training
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification/Training
  • Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma Certification/Training
  • ERP System Certification/Training
  • Document Control or Quality Management System Certification/Training
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification/Training (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or related applications)
  • APICS/ASCM Certification/Training
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Training
  • Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN) Process Training
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, project coordination, quality, supply chain, production planning, or related environments.
  • Experience coordinating activities involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, project tracking tools, or document control systems.
