AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL:(The day-to-day on the job)- Lead the development of project scopes, design criteria, and engineering specifications in alignment with client's standards.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure design deliverables meet project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform detailed reviews of engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation, ensuring constructability, feasibility, and compliance.
- Support value engineering efforts to optimize design solutions for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or compliance.
- Ensure alignment of designs with facility master plans, production requirements, and client's strategic objectives.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to monitor contractor performance and adherence to project schedules.
- Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and end-users to align project objectives with business needs.
- Coordinate with client's facilities and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems into existing infrastructure.
- Facilitate technical discussions and design reviews, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Ensure all design and construction activities comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance measures to track and validate design and construction performance.
- Identify potential risks during design and construction phases and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical conflicts and troubleshoot issues related to design, materials, or construction practices.
- Provide solutions to ensure project delivery meets cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
- Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including design packages, as-built drawings, and change management record.
