Job Duties

Nutrien US LLC has opening for Reliability Engineer in Borger, TX. Manage reliability maintenance effectiveness programs. Facilitate meetings with maintenance/operations over all assets in the plant to find all potential damage/failure mechanisms and building preventative maintenance plans to help keep the assets reliable. Review the data in our work management system from our current PM's along with time between failures to better adjust the time between PM's. Own KPI data - including the following: Availability Factor, Schedule Factor, Plant trip index, Reliability event index, Capacity utilization, RCM's and PMO. Facilitate a review with a small team of critical equipment and systems to identify all failure mechanisms and create PM's as needed. Lead RCFA's on Equipment Failure. Facilitate meetings after a reliability event to create a timeline and cause map of the event to identify the root cause of the failure and create actions to prevent future failures to better reliability. Keep track of the facilities top 10 bad actors (could be failures that are high in costs or multiple failures of the same asset in short duration) and look into the root cause of the failures and make the necessary repairs/changes to help prevent future failures. Support Operations and Maintenance on chronic Reliability issues. Provide leadership and mentorship to the members of the Reliability department. Provide help with vibration analysis and oil analysis to our reliability technicians. Provide engineering support to our rotating specialist. Support T/A preparation and execution. Provide detailed repair plans and bill of materials to planning group for upcoming overhauls on rotating equipment. Provide engineering support/designs for MOC's to be complete in TA.

Job Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Mechanical Engineering-related occupation. Experience must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: 1. Experience with vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, or other PM/PdM technologies; 2. Demonstrated proficiency with analytical, organizational and communication skills; 3. Experience with Ivara EXP, RCM II and PM optimization methodologies; 4. Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) Systems and processes; 5. Utilizing Mechanical Integrity (MI) methodologies, and applicable codes and standards (RAGAGEP); 6. Investigating equipment problems and recommending design modifications to improve reliability, productivity and safety of Nitrogen production assets; and 7. Leading and administering of site reliability programs, including ongoing continuous improvement actions. Experience must also include:

1. Proven ability to perform as a sole contributor and to lead teams. Background check required.
