Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering preferred
• 5-10 years of industrial experience with mechanical equipment
• 5 years of experience managing project scope, budget, and schedules
• Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Utilities, and Civil engineering disciplines
• Experience in equipment and construction services contract management
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics and drawings
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Confer with engineers to implement procedures and resolve malfunctions
• Research, design, install, and maintain mechanical products and systems
• Assist in developing structural designs using drafting tools or software
• Oversee installation and repair of equipment to ensure functionality
• Recommend design modifications to prevent system malfunctions
• Estimate costs and prepare contract documents for projects
