• Experience in configuring, optimizing and maintaining couchbase clusters and underlying operating systems.
• Perform Couchbase environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring.
• Support day-to-day operational maintenance, troubleshoot issues to resolution, ongoing real-time monitoring and alerting and periodic upgrades for the Couchbase Database.
• Build and maintain multiple Cassandra Clusters in the lower non production environments.
• Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
• Define and implement backup and archival strategies per data retention requirements.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automate approaches for system/database administration tasks through developing scripts.
• Monitor and maintain database health and ensure efficient operation.
• 24 x 7 support and management of Couchbase databases.

Skills Required
• t least 2 years of Couchbase administrative experience mandatory
• Strong Cassandra DBA with 2 - 4 years of experience
• utomation in building and setting up multiple Cassandra Clusters
• Handling Couchbase Cluster Creation, New Node addition, Memory, CPU related trouble shooting
• Solid experience working in Linux environment
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages including Perl, Python, Shell for performing and automating DB activities.
• Strong experience with Ansible
• Strong knowledge of networking, and Linux server fundamentals
• Good Knowledge of the concepts of Clustering, Fault Tolerance, High Availability & Disaster Recovery.
• Deep understanding of internals of NoSQL frameworks
• On call rotations are required
