This Mechanical Systems Design Engineer is self-motivated and collaborative. They are flexible and open to new ideas and challenges. They are detail oriented, and solutions focused.
As a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, a typical day for you might include: - Produce required documentation for fabrication purposes by following industry standards and evaluating manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Provides design information by answering questions and requests.
- Assists engineering in resolving differences between design and fabrication requirements.
- Maintains Product and company reputation by complying with applicable regulations and standards.
- Expected to work with some assistance from other sources such as engineering, project management, purchasing etc...
And on some days, you may: - Release custom engineered projects to manufacturing by generating panel layouts and wire run lists.
- Maintains drawings by issuing Engineering Change Notices.
This may be the next step in your career journey if you have: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology
- Entry level to two years' experience in OEM design activities, including experience in Autocad-based drawings or similar.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, File Management Software.
- Strong spatial recognition skills.
- Ability to multitask while identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.
- Ability to follow precise procedures and thoroughly complete assigned tasks by using strong follow-up skills.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
