Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary responsibility for this role is assisting project teams with designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment across the Andersen Enterprise on medium to large scale projects. Candidates for this position should possess a strong technical background with the desire to be a change agent and have the energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. This is a hybrid role with travel requirements up to 40%.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new equipment and processes (FAT and SAT activities).
  • Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability and process capability of new products or product extensions.
  • Provide recommendations regarding the viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes.
  • Attend/facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.
  • Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.
  • Assist in developing specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.
  • Partner with the Safety group to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirements.
  • Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.
  • Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
  • 1-3 years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude
  • Understands and applies methodologies associated with project planning and experience working with collaborative, cross-functional teams
  • Strong aptitude in problem solving using analytical tools and making process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools.
  • Ability to effectively apply acquired knowledge and skills to a variety of assignments within a moderate range of technical difficulty.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Experience with change management strategies.
  • Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.


PAY RANGE:
$78,824.00 - $122,176.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
