Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Electrical Engineer Level 4 to join our Team in Chandler, AZ. The Engineer Electrical (Level 4) RTCL position supports Real Time Closed Loop testing of all programs.

In this job you will;

This position will be responsible for the execution, maintenance and enhancements of multiple real-time closed-loop (RTCL) and open-loop simulation test stations. This includes RTCL work package development, release and execution as well as RTCL and open-loop asset scheduling across multiple programs. Test Engineering, hardware/software knowledge will be used to assist in the development and design of new RTCL test stations. Other duties as assigned. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn complex DoD requirements, and the ability to operate under senior engineer guidance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience or Master's Degree and 6 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance prior to start.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Possess both hardware and software skills that are utilized in Test Engineering and test equipment development.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Linux (e.g. Solaris, RedHat) experience.
  • Background with closed-loop simulation test systems and real time processing is required.
  • Ability to proactively interface with multi-discipline team of engineers is a must.
  • Must have an active Government Secret Security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Concurrent RedHawk hardware is desirable.
  • Cable design and Matlab tools knowledge is a plus.
  • Test Engineering with software background is highly desirable.

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
