A DAY IN THE LIFE
As an Engineer I 6 Electrical for BESS, you 2ll support the design and execution of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage. You 2ll assist senior engineers in managing third-party engineering firms, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring designs meet client, company, and industry standards. Your work includes helping develop, test, and refine electrical components and systems, and supporting safe, efficient installation during project execution.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
- Assists the Senior and Lead Project Engineers to support Blattner Internal Engineering and other stakeholders with the project design through project completion.
- Aligns construction teams to ensure they have the necessary design information, quantities, and specifications to build the projects.
- Performs equipment/material takeoffs and drawing/study/specification reviews and provides to the Senior and Lead Project Engineers.
- Participates in design reviews, ensures construction activities are following project drawings and specifications, and validates red-line markups are complete and accurate.
- Supports the project design by ensuring the design meets the contractual requirements from Client, Company, and Industry Codes and Standards.
WHAT YOU 2LL NEED
- Bachelor 2s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited college required.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate.
- Renewable energy experience (Wind, Solar, or BESS).
- Previous engineering, electrical, or mechanical construction field experience in a related industry (i.e., electrical, mechanical, heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) preferred.

$68,684.00 - $99,593.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
