BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our development efforts in our Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, good at planning, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our engineers are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams focused on developing cost-effective systems that meet the needs of our customers. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of protégés, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events. Required Skills and Education • Experience working on the development, integration, test, qualification and production of complex electro/mechanical systems. • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers. • Excellent organizational & time management skills. • Experience with Matlab and Oracle. • Bachelor's degree in a electrical engineering or equivalent and at least 4 years experience. • An active Secret clearance is required for this position.
