Job Description

This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team developing and reviewing model-based systems engineering architecture products; namely the engineer will be expected to edit official content in the US Air Force's official MBSE-based Government Reference Architecture, the contractually-binding MBSE model to the Prime Contractor. The candidate is expected to work alongside professional modelers and presenting data and reports to the US Air Force customer. This position will operate in an organizational culture that develops and challenges employees to achieve high performance in a fast-paced, high-morale workplace using streamlined management policies and procedures. It is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to shape the development and deployment of the next generation intercontinental ballistic missile, the national security-critical backbone of our nuclear deterrent capability.

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's degree and 3 years minimum work experience or Master's degree and 2 years minimum work experience in an engineering field at an accredited university or college.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools.
  • Demonstrated capacity to edit and review MBSE architecture products using MBSE software like Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.
  • Familiarity with relationship traceability in digital architectures.
  • Proactive person with a positive attitude and a "team player" mentality.
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Preference is given to candidates with experience in DoD programs and increased preference with experience in ICBM programs and IBM Rational DOORS.
  • Successfully completed coursework in MBSE modeling, e.g., Delligatti SysML.
