BAE Systems Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area is seeking a Program Quality Engineer in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. In this job, you will:
  • Support a fast-paced EMD Program transitioning to high-volume production as a Program Quality Engineer.
  • Provide technical and Quality Assurance expertise, fostering a "Quality First" culture within the ACES Product Line.
  • Oversee Quality efforts across engineering development, manufacturing and production, supply chain, and program execution.
  • Interface with end customers to support audits, product acceptance, and program requirements, ensuring alignment and compliance.
  • Act as the Quality stakeholder for Program Lifecycle Management (LCM) reviews, design reviews, Configuration Control Board (CCB), APQP/AS9145 activities, driving adherence to requirements and best practices.
  • Lead timely and effective root cause and corrective Actions (RCCA) investigations, manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition of nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4+ years of experience or 6-8+ years of engineering/technical experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain SAP / SAR clearance
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and customers, and partner communities

  • Experience with/or knowledge of root cause and corrective action (RCCA) methodologies

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
  • Prior Quality Engineering Experience
  • Active Secret / Top Secret Clearance
  • Defense Contracting / Production Program Experience
  • PPV-FAI AS9102 Experience
  • Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Lean Six Sigma tools: Green Belt / Black Belt Certifications
  • Supply Chain Management and Supplier Management Experience
  • Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Experience
  • Lifecycle Management (LCM) Experience
  • QAVMI Sell Off Experience
  • AS9145 Experience
  • Auditing experience (AS9100, ISO9001)
  • Quality Planning / Contract Requirements Review and Oversight
  • Cost / Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
