BAE Systems' Model Based Engineering Capability Group (MBE CG) is on a mission to transform the industry with cutting-edge Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices. We're seeking a visionary MBSE expert to join our team and help propel this revolution forward.
As a key player in our MBE CG, you'll be responsible for championing the implementation of Agile-MBSE best practices, empowering programs across the ES Sector with the latest MBSE training and providing technical guidance on model development and process implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our transition to a Digital Enterprise (DE), where virtual and cloud-based networks are redefining the boundaries of traditional engineering.
This role's responsibilities will require you:
37Utilize your knowledge of MBSE processes, practices, tools, and related modeling languages and frameworks (e.g. SysML, UML, UAF) to solve complex technical problems37Guide a program in their total MBSE development activities37Collaborate with project teams and leadership to contribute to the development of MBSE training materials and company best practices

Required Skills and Education
37Active Secret Security Clearance37Bachelor's Degree in STEM field and 6+ years experience in Systems Engineering or Masters Degree in STEM field and 4+ years experience in Systems Engineering.372+ years of experience building models and developing modeling strategies using MBSE methodologies, tools, and best practices37Strong technical skills in MBSE, including:37Experience with MagicDraw/Cameo and associated plug-ins37Proficiency in UML, SysML, and other relevant modeling languages and frameworks37Ability to create specialized searches, and analyze problems through MBSE models37Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements37Ability to contribute to the development of MBSE training materials, best practices, and processes, and guide programs in their total MBSE development activities.

37Experience in developing / supporting digital engineering solutions and technologies37Directly built 2-4 full scale models including parametric functions and simulation execution37Experience in Agile software development methodologies and task management tools (e.g. Jira)37Experienced in Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and Analysis (MSVA)37Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI)37Familiar with Government Reference Architectures (GRAs)37Experience supporting all phases of the engineering product development lifecycle37Classroom and on-the-job teaching experience37Training material development37EW Experience
