Job DescriptionGiven our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Countermeasures and Electronic attack business area. The CEMA team has opportunities in development of new hardware to meet the needs of the warfighter. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued development of complex electronic systems.
Some of your day to day tasks will be:
- Schematic capture and layout using EDA tools
- PCB stack-up definition and material selection
- Signal integrity analysis
- Power integrity and distribution network design
- Component selection and library management
- Design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) guidelines
- Working with other disciplines to ensure requirements are met.
- Developing and executing Design Verification Tests
- Supporting transition to production.

Responsibilities• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, marketing, and product management to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Execute Hardware Solutions: Lead the team in executing hardware solutions, ensuring adherence to engineering processes and best practices.
• Develop Technology Roadmaps: Collaborate on the development of technology roadmaps, leveraging design and test solutions across the portfolio to drive innovation and growth.
• Ensure Program Success: Collaborate with program engineering managers and other leads to ensure overall program success, including developing and tracking program performance metrics.
• Communicate Program Status: Communicate program status to internal customers and senior leadership, providing timely and transparent updates on progress and challenges.
• Foster a Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design To Unit Production Cost (DTUPC), designing out defects prior to production and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee Lifecycle Phases: Oversee lifecycle phases, including design development, verification, integration, and production support, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality products.
• Drive Innovation and Growth: Lead the team in driving innovation and growth, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Education- BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
- Typically 4+ years' experience working with analog, processor and high-speed digital circuit card assemblies
- Able to research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve electrical engineering problems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
- Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Must have: Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills and Education- MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
- Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans.
- Knowledge of a Digital transceiver and other complex circuit technology.
- Experience in clock and reset management, specifically with embedded processors, PCIe, Ethernet, 1553, SERDES, and Fiber Optic interfaces.
- Experience with debugging embedded systems
