The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our "Design it Right" initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity, to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.
The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following:
- Assist in translation of system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs
- Analog, mixed-signal and digital CCA design, schematic capture and analysis
- Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting
- Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
- Create design documentation and verification test procedures
It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

- Solid fundamentals of analog/power/mixed-signal/digital circuitry
- Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
- Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Preferred Skills and Education- Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB, PWB) design using Cadence tools
- Strong hands-on lab skills with ability to prototype and test analog, mixed-signal and digital circuits
- Experience with PCB simulation tools
- Experience in Power Supply (AC to DC / DC to DC) design
- Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
- Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
- Experience with mission-critical defense electronics, ruggedized board design and compliance
