This specialized team is responsible for evaluating, maturing, and advancing the next generation of capabilities, technologies, and processes that shape the future of our electronic warfare solutions.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and integrating mission software that disrupts adversary radar and communication networks for both domestic and international applications. Your contributions will directly support the evolution of critical capabilities, strengthening national defense and enhancing the operational edge of U.S. and allied warfighters in contested environments.

You will work with modern C++ and C# in secure Linux environments, developing real-time mission software and advanced processing frameworks. As part of the Futures Team, you will explore emerging approaches, validate new designs, collaborate across disciplines, and help transition innovative concepts into operational solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, implement, and integrate mission software in C++ and C# on Linux platforms.
  • Contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements definition through system integration and verification.
  • Develop and optimize real-time software frameworks for domestic and international mission needs.
  • Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with Systems and Test engineering teams to address cross-disciplinary technical challenges.
  • Support foreign military sales programs (e.g., Italy) by adapting mission capabilities for international partners.
  • Mentor early-career engineers and reinforce engineering best practices.
  • Evaluate and advance new technologies, software approaches, and development processes as part of the Futures Team's charter.
This is a full-time, onsite role at our Hudson, NH facility, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on one of BAE Systems' most strategic defense programs, with opportunities to shape the future of electronic warfare capabilities for the US and its allies.
