DescriptionIgniteAction is seeking an experienced
Senior Level Developer to design and build scalable, high-quality software and data solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular), backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL-based data stores, and strong experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and AWS CloudFormation. This role requires a strong focus on clean code, API design, performance optimization, and collaborative code reviews.
The Core Tech Stack- Frontend: React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Backend: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go
- Data: PostgreSQL or SQL, ETL processes, Data Pipelines
- Cloud: AWS (CloudFormation)
Key Responsibilities- Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems, including scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code, conduct peer code reviews to help keep the codebase sane.
- API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use.
- Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles and inefficient data pipelines
- Data Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines
- Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation
Skill AreaWhat's Expected System Design Understanding database normalization, load balancing, basic microservices, and data pipeline architecture
DevOps Ability to debug a failing CI/CD pipeline, manage environment variables safely, and support AWS environments
Testing Writing unit tests and End-to-End tests as standard practice.
Soft Skills Explaining technical trade-offs to product managers and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of experience relative experience
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance.
